The Bruin Guardian Scholars Academy (BGSA) is a partnership with First Star and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The mission of BGSA is to create a strong, supportive community where students can form lasting connections with peers and mentors, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. Prepare students for future success by offering guidance on college admissions, career exploration, and professional development, ensuring they are well-equipped for the next steps in their journeys. Promote the overall well-being of students by addressing their emotional, social, and physical needs through comprehensive support services and wellness initiatives.
